i'm going to do a movie list which works the same way as the book list i did about two days ago where:

IMDb top 100 movies- July 2008.

i didn't agree with some of the movies though and many of them actually are black and white. there are definitely more movies that should be on this list - especially more of the independent movies- but well, this is ranked by the users of IMDb. of course there is undeniably a good collection of classics on this list.
we'll see this again in a year later or so.
